SHORT GLACIER HIKE
3 HOURS
- A simple, short hike on the spectacular Falljökull glacier located in the Skaftafell region of Iceland. Falljökull is an outlet glacier of Europe’s largest glacier – Vatnajökull.
- A certified Glacier Guide will take you safely through the icy labyrinth of this glacial tongue.
- Your guide will give information about the glacier as well taking you to some amazing crevasse fields and other spectacular glacial formations.
- There will be plenty of opportunities for photos!
- Skaftafell is located over 4 hours east of Reykjavik by car in the Vatnajökull National Park.
- You’ll meet your guide by the Skaftafell Visitor Center.
Included: Helmet, Harness, Crampons, Ice Axe
Not Included: Weatherproof clothing, Hiking Boots (both are necessary to participate on this hike).

HALF-DAY GLACIER HIKE
5 HOURS
- A longer, more challenging hike on the spectacular Falljökull glacier.
- You’ll reach areas of this glacier that very few have gone before as well as enter some of the more extreme terrains this glacier has to offer, your certified Glacier Guide will give information about the glacier as well taking you to some amazing crevasse fields and other spectacular glacial formations.
Included: Helmet, Harness, Crampons, Ice Axe
Not Included: Weatherproof clothing, Hiking Boots (both are necessary to participate on this hike).
